No question Knipex beats Channel lock. The Cobra pliers are great but the pliers wrench is a game changer for many applications people use tongue and groove pliers for.
The key is the jaws stay parallel so they don't screw up nuts, even ones that are plastic or soft non-ferrous metals.

When fricking with electronics, especially when building a computer or working on a server where space is limited, I’ve never been happier to have a tool at my disposal than a magnetic tipped screwdriver or one of those telescoping magnetic pickup tools.

This reminded me of a truly underrated and not well-known tool.

An excessive amount of good #2 pencils in my shop along with an X-Acto sharpener.

Could not agree more.
I use my 430's for:
Crescent Wrench
Pipe Wrench
Line up bar
Small Hammer
Reach Extender
Clamp Tool
Valve Wrench
Best bang for buck tool I own by a wide margin.

Knipex brand hand tools as mentioned for the win.
They’re from Germany: Germans won’t frick around with shite hand tools.
Keyhole Saw
Jewelers’-sized tools
A magnifying viewing apparatus to work through
A Wonder Bar (for demo)
Good quality Allen Wrenches and Allen Drives
Good portable driver

Having the right hammer for the right job. Must have 7 or 8 different ones.

Same.
I would add that getting a cheap electric screwdriver really empowered my wife to do more simple things around the house.

My laser measure. Countless hours saved not pulling a tape for estimates, yet I take it for granted.

Kreg Jig... it's the easy button when putting together pieces of furniture.

I see your X-Acto sharpener and raise you a Boston Ranger 55

Also, I agree with other posters who have said Channel Lock brand is no longer the best. So many awesome alternatives nowadays. The one good thing about the original is that they’re damn near indestructible.
