If this was an deep undercover unit, they probably just killed him.

That video has about 20k views. I'm guessing Bud personally accounts for about 90% of them.

I think our parish is in good hands now for sure. I never had a particular reason (prior to this story) to dislike Bud, but once I realized the deputies wanted Rene I knew it was time for a change.
I think anything more than 3 terms is too damned long anyway.

Hmmm...how many trips to Vail would it take to put 110k miles on the truck?

Comprehension isn’t your strong suit, is it? It doesn’t say to mobile and back. It isn’t saying he drove to mobile. It is saying that the mileage from Baton Rouge to mobile is equal to what would need to be driven daily. The truck wasn’t stationed in Baton Rouge anyway...that we know of.
It says Baton Rouge to Mobile every day. If you drive from Baton Rouge to Mobile today then wake up tomorrow in Mobile how the hell are you going to drive from Baton Rouge to Mobile again?
They did the math, not me. Don't blame me for someone else's mistakes.

I think I just found the answer. The employee is the one maintaining and using the boat. What is the mileage from New Roads to Grand Isle?

Must be hard for Raxx to get someone to come play if they let that SOB on stage....shite they could just get Parish County Line for the 1000th time.

or a family member was given a sweet position with the SO but never did shite.
Did they also drive back and forth to Shreveport from New Roads twice every day for 18 months?

Simple answer:
Employee is undercover.
Doesn’t matter what the position is. If it’s legit you document everything.
And no UC officer isn’t gonna be driving that much.

That guy sounds like a strong candidate for an EVP position at Southern Company.

In addition to being a full time "intelligence officer" for the Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff's Office, the WBRZ Investigative Unit also found Guidroz is an elected official. He is a Justice of the Peace in the parish.
The state's dual office holding laws may pose big problems.
Louisiana Revised Statute 42:63 states, "No person holding an elective office in the government of this state shall at the same time hold another elective office, a full-time appointive office, or employment in the government of this state or in the government of a political subdivision thereof."
Questions are being raised about whether Guidroz broke the law. An Attorney General Opinion issued in 1991 addresses whether a justice of the peace can work as a full-time deputy sheriff. "Holding a full-time position as deputy sheriff would be prohibited by RS 42:63," the opinion reads.
quote:
The records show from June 2019 until June of this year, Guidroz purchased 3,568 gallons of gas at a total of $7,544. The title on the vehicle shows when it was purchased it only had ten miles on it. However, when it was turned in after being driven for 18 months, it had 110,000 miles on it.

The story should have told us where the out of Parish fuel purchases were located.
