Lots of insurance companies won't insure you if you have pitbull.

I've raised Chow Chows and Pit bulls. Pit Bulls are extremely smart and I've never had any issues having them around children. I made sure to take them around children when they were puppies. My Chows I wouldn't trust leaving them around children alone. My Chows were 10x more aggressive to strangers then the pits ever were.

For every Pitt bull story you see there are hundreds of fantastic ones elsewhere. You guys haven't learned this about the media yet? Trashy people try to elevate themselves with power breeds, treat them like shite, and create aggressive Pitts. You see these same people going to home depot to buy chains for a collar.

The meanest, most aggressive dog I've ever experienced first hand was a chow.
Still more scared around pitts b/c of their potential damage.

Most of them are. That's never the issue. I've known several pit bulls of people I know that were great dogs and very sweet. For the most part, good dog owners raise great dogs. The fact that they are also the favorite breed of trashy/shitty people is why they are in the news so often.
The issue is that if/when they snap, they are brutal and relentless, and they are damn near physically designed to destroy. So it boils down to if you want to take that chance or not.

My two have been amazing pets , but they're not for everyone and have been overbred. They're having lots of health issues and can be extremely stubborn and hard headed. Once they're gone, i doubt I'll get another one. I'll prob go back to Great Danes.

it 100% depends on the owner, not the dog. Treat an animal like shite & they will treat people like shite.

Dachshunds and German Sherpards are the most aggressive that I've come around. I inspect homes for a living and those are the most common ones i have issues with.
