I studied for several weeks for mine. Like an hour a day just reviewing the material. While also working a full time job and partying on the weekends with my friends like most 22 year olds.

Your cousin is not telling you the whole truth and a little digging on your part could prove it. Ask her the name of the test and look up the dates.
You should not bail out people in these situations. It is of her own making and it will become a habit. You are a broke college kid trying not to end up like her. You don't owe her anything.

She sounds like one of those people who have no problem pawning their kids on others and using the mas pawns to get sympathy, free babysitting and of course free money.
Some people are born thinking others were put on this earth to help them
We have a mid 20's (no pics) relative who sees my bf as a ATM, chauffeur, food delivery service etc.
She invites us to the kids birthdays but tells us the bring the BBQ grill, the charcoal, fluid, food,drinks and to get there early enough to cook. Then invites MORE people so we have to buy pizza too.
She has financial emergencies every week that we pay for. But she overdid it this time. BF is working nights 6/12s, He wanted him at the graduation and party afterwards,. Of course he could not make it.
So he got a angry curse filled text sating at least she has good friends who are there for her and her kids is heartbroken because my guy wasn't there and blah,blah,blah. she called me and i explained he needed his sleep and she hung up on me.
Awesome, cuz when you hang up on me i dont ever have to answer your calls again,. and by bitching my guy out, she just screwed herself out of thousands of dollars in help. Good liuck with that,Miss Attitude!

She is trying to make you the kids unofficial guardian. By law, if the kid spends 2 weeks or more with one individual without that individual notifying authorities, you are the official caretaker.

Curious if she gets foodstamps or child support. I betcha she won't offer any food or money to you for the kids needs.
Thousands of women study for their degrees while tending to kids. If you raise decent respectful children then they won't keep you from studying. I was about to take my son to my college class and to work because he was so very well behaved.

Everyone in this thread who is saying to cut off this cousin completely is absolutely correct
However, in situations like this it’s hard to not get involved when thinking about the children... I’m not saying that you SHOULD help her out because she’s obviously full of shite, but god damn, it hurts me to think about what type of conditions those children have to deal with

Trashy parents generally raise trashy kids. Add the fact that their guardian is a 21 year old, and here's what will or could happen:
1. They steal from you or your roommates
2. They frick your apartment up
3. They get drunk and die
4. They are put in harms way due to being watched by 21 year old college kids
5. Considering she already asked you for money, you will come out of pocket to feed these gremlins and will be screwed out of more than that $150
There is no positive to this situation. frick all that.

Well the topic was about trashy people.
The person I mention is not my family member or even my bf's blood kin. My bf unofficially adopted a few kids and grandkids that are not his blood kin.
Due to them lacking a male figure in their lives, he has stepped in to be there for them, even as their own deadbeat fathers are alive and refuse to do shite for their kids.
