You are referencing the 'Senate election' for KY-4's US House seat.
Meanwhile, you're referring to a poll showing the KY4 election (Gallrein's 10pt ElectionDay stomping) as a toss-up race, while indicating the majority of voters in KY-4 leaned heavily to Massie Age 17-25: Massie +25, Age 26-35: Massie +56, Age 36-45: Massie +38, Age 46-55: Massie +17.
Actual Election Day demos won't be available for weeks, but given the 10pt margin, suffice it to say those poll skews almost certainly will soften or disappear. Interestingly, turnout was pretty terrible. If Massie had generated significant interest in the younger demos you're referring to, he'd have won the race.
You should really really pocket the invectives. They appear as projection in these posts.

Dude you can GFY. I was genuinely curious because I don't keep up with each senator race across the country. I mainly follow the ones that I get to participate in and a he didn't win that primary. There have been multiple high profile elections over past couple of weeks so which one are you referring to was a legitimate and appropriate question.

As did I and a Gen Z. Thankfully, they are made of tougher stock than their pearl clutching cohorts on this board. We are also able to give one another a hard time without getting our feelings hurt. I am sincerely pissed off about the debt this country has, as I find it ridiculous, and I believe both parties are to blame.
I don't conduct my personal finances this way, nor do any of the people close to.
But ultimately, the voters decide, and the fact that almost 49% would and did vote for Harris means all-out spending will continue.

They took over the greatest country ever and brought it to its knees with their weak bullshite and now it's up to the next generations to try to clean up this shite

I'm not a Boomer but I'm curious as to why you think this climb is less difficult than today:
The avg Boomer grew up in a house that 1100 SF in 1960 with 2-3 siblings.
They graduated high school only to be DRAFTED to go fight a war that they didn't want to fight. They returned home to a country that shunned them, spit on them and called them baby killers.
They start their careers in 1970's only to endure two major oil supply shortages, unemployment rates of 9%, interest rates climbed from 7% to 11% to fight the "Great Inflation" that saw peaks of 6% at the start of the decade followed by peak of almost 12%
Now they enter the 1980's only to be greeted by unemployment that continued to climb to 11% nation wide. In LA it was over 13.6% because of the oil bust in 1986. This was the highest unemployment rate until Covid. Interest rates continued to climb and peaked at 18.5% and steadily declined to 10% by the end of the 80's. Inflation in the early 1980's peaked at around 14% and remained around 5% the remainder of the decade.
The first 20 years of the avg Boomer career was complete shite!
I don't care what generation you are none of us non-boomers have come anywhere close to experiencing the shitty economy from 1970 to 1990.
In comparison 1970-1990 to 2000-2026
Since 2000 we have seen three years with inflation above 4% and a peak at 8% which was during Covid. They averaged 8% yoy inflation for an entire decade.
We had one large sustained unemployment spike during housing crash of 2008 that peaked around 10% and lasted a few years. They had multiple spikes that peaked at 11%. Obviously, Covid peaked to 14% in April 2020 but was 8% overall for the year and back down to 5% in 2021. Essentially unemployment is a wash.
The highest interest rate we've seen since 2000 was in 2000 at 8.8% which barely above the lowest rate they saw in 1970 at 7.7% which peaked at 18.4% in the early 80's.
It doesn't sound like they walked into a paradisiacal country to me.
