I did. And although I could have phrased it in a more polite manner, the sentiment of the response stands. Everyone goes through tough times and has struggles. You get laid off from one job, you get another. You do whatever it takes to provide for your kids/family. Letting mommy and daddy bail you out seems to be the new millennial way.

No, everyone is not hiring. But there are jobs for those willing to do whatever it takes to support their family even in difficult times.

I have one remaining son. He is out of work in the oilfield industry. I have one grand-daughter in Baton Rouge. I now pay her child support and tuition to a private school.
Can’t pay his child support or daughter’s tuition but guaranteed is tatted up with truck nuts on the F250
ETA what you’re doing for him and your family is highly commendable and I salute you sir.

I'm with you man. My 72 year old mother is bitching everyday about needing to open up. She trusts God and says this isn't living. If God wants us it'll be cancer, car wreck, corona, etc. This is all political. We're going to look back this time next year and all say "what the hell did we do that(lockdown)for?". This is one of the most stupid, asinine things ever done in US History, and that's saying a lot.

270,000 people have died of covid 19 worldwide.
7,799,730,000 haven’t.

I take precautions. I do not go to crowded places. I hand-wash and sanitize. I wear a mask when out in public. I do those things because I may be at risk.

Welcome to the 63 club!
I don't have HBP, but already have a pacemaker and a couple of other heart issues, but plan on living at least another 20 years.

I even thought about retiring when all of this BS started.
Do it! I retired last year, but my younger wife still has several years to go. Best thing I could have done- I was in a high stress industry that was eating me up inside, now I am finally relaxed! I tell people you will never truly have enough money, but trust me, unless you have zero dollars after being paid with no 401K, you will survive easily.

Wait...I thought the OT narrative was that people don't want to go back to their jobs because they make more on UI, so the business owners are fricked on their loans.
Why not go work for one of them? Both could benefit.
