My son tells me to live!!!

I am 63 years old with high blood pressure and work in the medical field. Yep, I have risks. I even thought about retiring when all of this BS started.
I have one remaining son. He is out of work in the oilfield industry. I have one grand-daughter in Baton Rouge. I now pay her child support and tuition to a private school.
I, recently, saw her for the 1st time since all of this BS started. I thought how unfair it was to her. No school. No playtime with friends. Her normal life was all screwed up, and she does not understand. She is only 7. What are we doing here?
I see my remaining son and witness the financial difficulties he is going through. We have tanked the economy, and it is now time to permit those young men and women to get back to work to provide for their families.
I lost a son a few years ago at 27. He tells me to live! Every moment of every day to the fullest. Just as he lived.
I take precautions. I do not go to crowded places. I hand-wash and sanitize. I wear a mask when out in public. I do those things because I may be at risk.
I have lived a good life. I plan on living many more with my lovely wife of 43 years (no pics, as most of you would be jealous). It is time we permit those that follow to fulfill their dreams.
Open this crap up!

Tell your son find another job, start acting like a man, and pay his own damn child support.

You sound like a wonderful grandfather and man but you need to tell your son to get a job at Rouses, Lowe’s or any of the other businesses that are thriving so he can provide for his child

If you believe in karma, just be good to others and good will come upon you.

Is your granddaughter from your son that’s out of work or the son you lost? My condolences on your loss.
