My relatively small tree yielded 450 satsumas.

Not including throwaways or the ones that got eaten by animals.

Most I ever had on it before was about 150. Is this supposed to be some bumper crop year for citrus or something? Wet summer?

Can I trade oranges for drugs?

What would be cool is if you live in Satsuma, too.

Do you?

Fruit trees will sometimes do what yours did. Have a bumper year followed by a poor one, or at least one not as productive. Enjoy the plentiful harvests while you get them.

More carbon dioxide in the air. Global warming is actually good unironically.

Mine got caught up in the freeze last year, so I don't have as many as usual. They aren't tasting sweet yet, either. I'm disappointed so far.

General Question

I have a single satsuma tree that is about 6-7 years old. It produced 1 satsuma about 3 years ago.

Is something wrong or will it one day start to produce?

Contact Dan Gill and fertilize with 888 at the end of February.

Where do you live?

My tree is about that old. First few years I had nothing, then I had about 60, then about 150, now this. I think you have to prune the branches back a little in the winter. Patience, and it will take off. (Unless you live someplace where it freezes regularly.)
