Isn't it you who loves Obamacare because people like me pay high premiums and deductibles so your mom can afford her coverage?

You should start a gofund me account to help them.

You should probably look at 3br/2ba. There will be a lot more of those. 150k is probably still low.

Yep. If it didn't flood, the price went up. Similar house I have, sold for 60k over what it was 4 years ago. I could sell and get a nice profit.

there are some 3br/2ba (1500-1700 sq.ft) homes in the SE part of 70817 if they can go $165k-185 range, that will be 15-25+ year old range.

New at that size will be $200k-220k

if they want condo, then maybe more options.

Try north of 350 for anything decent. Some friends paid nearly 400 for ~2100 square foot house with no yard.

If you love your parents, please don't let them move here.
My coworkers and I have decided we are all suffering from PTSD because of officer killings, riots, floods, more cop killing, etc.

The starting price for decent is more like $250. It all depends on which part of town and age of the subdivision.

St. Francisville is lovely and has some beautiful properties at good prices. Even better, it's not in the Rudge.

Bogan Walk Street, Acadian Thruway, Choctaw Drive, and Plank Road

Any of these will work, right in your price range.

Transplants have ruined the Northshore. I'd hate for the same thing to happen to the Felicianas and Point Coupee.

Do you think maybe 170k would help? I know they don't want to go over but I may pitch in

Make it a 2 bed 2 bath townhome or condo and you can find a nice one in BR.

Zero traffic to or from Iberville. Today is the first day I have had to slow below 45 in months.

I usually drive 42 miles in to work in a little under 40 minutes.
