Good people get mad at God. I've never thought about it like that until now.

I think it's only normal to get mad at God sometimes. There is a difference between getting mad and still loving Him and ultimately trusting Him and getting mad and turning your back on Him. Life isn't fair. Having faith doesn't guarantee a life without pain and sorrow.

Him smoking certainly didn't help his chances.

Stroke is an outlier to most of us but a real & present danger.

Exercise, lifestyle, and diet folks.

Hop he recovers well.

I know a guy that moved to Atlanta after graduating LSU. Healthy and physically fit.. had a stroke on the treadmill in his gym in Atlanta, 23 years old. After rehab he's back on his game.
Very scary.

God can handle it. Being angry or mad isn't a sin.

Frankly, I would tell Him that and tell Him to fix you brother right away. Play the Jesus card. God's fricked when you play the Jesus card. Ask anything in Jesus's name and it will be done. God is our heavenly Father. He is here for us. We ain't here for Him.

I get it man.

People love to say "God has a plan" but that is just bullshite.

If God's plan is to kill innocent children all the time, then he is no god I want to praise.

At best, if there is a God, he is a vindictive, cruel a-hole.

No sir. Wrong.

God would rather me die today and be with Him forever than to see me live 40 more years and be nothing good to anyone, including myself.

There is a God and He loves us. If we get mad at Him, He understands. He's not mad back. It's like your 3 year old getting mad at you for no candy bar. Your love for him/her gets stronger every second.

No, He didn’t. He aptly warned Israel what would happen to them if they turned from Him. They would, He’d smack em back down, and they’d turn back to Him and be restored to glory. He doesn’t just hand out punishment without reason.

I know it is a rude question but is it a sign of other issues?

I ask because my late uncle had a series of strokes. In his case it was because the cancer he already had spread to his brain.

Depending on the long term effects, he could just have minor issues or he could have much worse problems such as knowing what he wants to say but being unable to spit it out because his control isn’t there anymore, either of expressing his thoughts or his ability to speak.

The god of the christian religion does not exist. So don't get down on yourself, millions are fooled daily and will continue to do so.

It's okay

He's going to need to speak with a professional and get some help with anger. And recently, depression.

And no fricking pills. I mean a Christian counseler. He's been angry for a lot of years.

He hides his depression.
