In that case, as a 27 year old single person - I can't imagine moving out to the wyoming or something is a great idea? Rent a place in a city for a few years, lots of people, etc.

This might sound weird at first but I'd look at Mexico City. It's a badass place, great food, culture, nightlife, beautiful women, etc... and your money will go really far there. You'll also get to learn some Spanish which will make you more interesting and employable.

Does time zone matter? If not I’d look at Portugal or Slovenia. Maybe Croatia. If you want to stay in the US the states you mentioned would be at the top of my list

As someone said, based on the fact that your list contains places that are polar opposites it seems you don’t really know what you want.
Do you want to live in nature away from humankind or do you want to live in a major metropolis filled with things to do and friends? Alternatively you could live somewhere like Boise or Missoula which aren’t exactly popping off with entertainment options but would provide some semblance of city living with great nature opportunities a short drive away.
If you decide which of these three options is right for you I could provide some pretty decent guidance probably.

Work for a tech startup that has rapidly grown since I started there about 3 years ago. Got in at the perfect time, which allowed me to make a name for myself and rise up quickly, hence the salary that is a bit higher than others that are my age.
I have always been able to do my job from pretty much anywhere, but they were insistent on office work until COVID hit. I do travel 25%-50% of the time though, so being near a decent sized airport would be a plus.

Boise is a well kept secret. If that’s the general area you’re looking to live, I’d highly advise it. Do not move to Wyoming though since that place is just a massive tundra.
All 3 of those cities blow. Do not move there.

Exactly. 100K isn't gonna get you anything in Cali. I make a pretty healthy salary, but I live in Kentucky because I want to retire at 55.

Yeah, I don't know what I want at all, but the possibilites are endless lol. Boise is a place I am looking at because it seems big enough that there'd be people my age around to meet and hang with. I like hiking and getting out in nature.

Assuming you require a strong internet connection.....you may want to consider areas with fiber optic service.
Those states are pretty rural and are less likely to have that.

Mine went pure remote a few months ago.
Next month we are moving from Austin to the far south west Denver area, where we will spend a year or two then move to a more remote mountain area away from the city. Possibly up to Wyoming.

Interesting. I'm fluent in spanish (mom is hispanic), but I'm looking to stay in the states lol
