Probably have a few distant family members like him but that is the reason they are distant. Lately my co workers have been obsessed with flat earth and chem trails which is so tiresome. They drive across the causeway bridge and yet still don't understand....

Well the first one is about to happen, then, because we about to go drill for oil up there.

He did not mock him. He was giving a picture of the man, and his lack of education is a definite part of that picture. In general, uneducated people are more stupid, and more susceptible to conspiracies than educated people.

I have no idea why he believes that. He’s uneducated, but thinks he’s really good at doing research.

Clearly you are smarter than him so just do the opposite of what he does.

I'm willing to bet his "research" is weighted heavily to uphold his confirmation biases. These people don't generally take the time to really listen and steelman the views opposite their own.

He isn't wrong. Early on studies showed that Ivermectin had a stronger bind to spike proteins preventing them from sticking to cell membranes.

If you can't find links to the studies with google, try yandex.

If you took the vaccine you are an uneducated dumbass, OR an educated dumbass. Either way, you're a dumbass.

So we had suits, and the tech to withstand the radiation and Temps to put a person on the moon, and we haven't been back since? We put shite/stuff on the moon, but it wasn't a person! No one is claiming we haven't been to the moon or sent shite there but we have never walked on the moon! Ever

It wouldn't be a bad idea to put 5% in Bitcoin. But all that other shite..

I have a brother in law that's similar. He believes all kind of crazy shite, but he doesn't mess with computers at all. Has a cell phone, but a smart phone. He gets everything from the News. He primarily watches Fox, but will switch from Fox to CNN yet this dude thinks he has the world figured out.

Research is usually code for someone who watches Alex Jones clips on YouTube.

Uneducated refers to someone who hasn’t been indoctrinated.

Denigrating an individual's research capabilities

Intellectual curiosity leads to education...not in all cases, but people who are experts in the fields being most questioned these days aren't in it for the money, they're in it because of their own strong sense of curiosity and duty. Scientists don't make much money.

Joe Blow the plant worker may have intellectual curiosity, as well, but oftentimes is unpracticed in the arts of research and critical thinking. These uneducated folks get it consistently wrong by starting their research with their beliefs already decided, only looking for information to confirm that bias or belief. Some Joe Blow doesn't "research" climate, epidemiology, or economic theory with any sort of legitimacy if their "findings" spit in the face of 90+% of doctors and scientists who use the scientific method and peer review to test their theories.

Perhaps most importantly, smart people don't have to take counterintuitive positions in order to prove they're deep thinkers or expert researchers. Occam's razor is a thing....if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck, it's probably a damn duck. The chances of it not being a duck are slim to none. Insisting a duck isn't a duck doesn't make one smarter or well-read, it makes them look like fools. And no matter how often, or LOUDLY, Joe Blow insists he's done duck research and that duck definitely isn't a duck, he's still wrong and still a fool.

ou sound like a whiny little cuck. If I had a family member like you, I’d beat your arse at thanksgiving in front of everyone for being a liberal bitch

I’m far from being a liberal. I’m against abortion, contraception, in vitro fertilization, all LGBTQ propaganda, and morons who suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome. You would know this if you’ve seen my posts over the years.

However, I also don’t believe every stupidass conspiracy theory that a random retard posts on the internet with no good evidence. Apparently, you are the type of gullible sheep who does fall hook, line, & sinker for all those things.

Also, I would be happy to go into your mom’s basement to beat your arse in order to teach you some respect. Most people just need one good arse whipping to humble them, to teach them some respect, and to get their minds right; you seem like one of them. These people are generally much better off in life after receiving said arse whipping.
