Man that’s tough to here. Lost my ole man 6 months after he was diagnosed. Can’t imagine only knowing just a few weeks that you have left.

I know you handle, but I don’t know you like some here do, but I’m terribly sorry for your loss. I’m 40 and I’m blessed to still have mine healthy but I know it won’t be too much longer in the grand scheme of things and it’s hard to even think about much less than having to deal with it when the time comes.

Bama, I know we have our differences but this is the reason I get on your arse. Please dont let your disease take your life. My dad got sober, but his body was so far gone that the chemo just ended it. Please for your son get it together.

Sorry for your loss. I lost my dad in May to cancer he was 83 . He was my best friend and my hero. He loved LSU and the Saints , I would turn down weekend work just to watch games with him because I knew his time here was coming to an end. It still hasn’t gotten any easier, sometimes on the way home on my long drive i will start sobbing thinking of him. I don’t tell my wife because she worries about me . I’ve cried more since he’s passed then I have in thirty years

Very sorry for your loss. My dad died suddenly the night before thanksgiving 2010. It sucks. Hope you can remember the good things about him. Take it one day at a time and cry if you need to.
