A lot of people were delayed due to lightning. shite happens. If that causes you to act like classless trash then maybe you're the snowflake? There are way worse things in life. I assume since you were on a business trip, your company covers your hotel? You can also get in a rental and drive if you miss your connection. At least you're alive, healthy and have enough money to buy beer at an airport bar.
