Yep. You should have seen this kitchen when we bought it. Never updated since it was built in the 50’s. It had fricking blue countertops and awful wallpaper. We did a quick makeover on the cheap when we first bought it a few years ago. We got a lot out of the few hundred bucks we spent.

I couldn’t tell you the exact grams or temp off the top of my head. I have a system worked out with my equipment. I know which line I fill to in my grinder and my kettle tells me when it reaches optimal brewing temp.

Doesn’t get much more amateur than this.

Look, Jon, there's a time and a place for everything. I enjoy a freshly ground espresso with the best of them, but I use my Chinese POS because it has an alarm clock function and can get me caffeine first thing in the morning before my brain even knows I'm awake, much less able to make a pour over.

The horror!!

It's been proven by multiple taste testers that drip coffee is legit good when you are using freshly roasted and ground beans. No one needs all your fancy glass shite for some coffee. I got shite to do like grind some herb for my wake and bake.

Daily drink is Third Coast Double French for us.

Bialleti stove top expresso kettle on the weekends, using illy beans.

Biscuits are civilized people, not grocery store coffee drinking heathens.
