Thanks Rummy and that’s Exactly what I said to the detective. He said he agreed but by the letter of the law that doesn’t qualify. He could’ve easily had amnesia and other head injury related side effects

I'm sorry to hear this, Sampson, and I hope you find your brother safe and sound. It's concerning he is recovering from a head injury and may not be acting like his usual self nor may he realize that people are actively looking for and care about him. I wish you and your family the best in locating him and I hope it is soon. <3

I wonder if he has a concussion from the accident that can be causing some erratic behavior. Could that change him from being of sound mind?
Also, I hope you get some good news soon man. I can't imagine what you and your family are going through.
Edit: looks like you already answered the question. Good luck in your search.

That’s terrible. Prayers for your brother. Is the first picture you have the same guy as the last pictures (both your brother)? If so he looks a lot different. What's he look like now?

I don’t buy that he was temporarily living with someone and never discussed anything about the new place he was moving into. The friend he was living with knows something he’s not telling you.

Prayers we find your brother safe

Did they do a toxicology screen at the ED following the wreck? That is pretty standard.
I am not at all trying to disparage your brother, but to me the story sounds like someone with a drug problem.
I hope y'all are able to find him safe and sound.

Rehab isn’t legally allowed to speak to anyone that isn’t written on an authorization form and signed off on by the patient. They can’t even confirm someone is there if you called and asked. It would be really strange for someone to be in treatment for a month and not let family know, especially if they have a good relationship.
Hope you track him down OP

Haven’t read all the comments but I’d definitely be checking all the surrounding hospitals.

I hope for the best outcome. Not suggesting this but thought popped into my head that he got some prescription pain killers, had a few drinks on the night of the citation, then had an incident later that night.
