He’s not returning to Twitter. He has skin in the game to make sure Truth Social is successful. If he becomes the nominee again it’s hard to imagine that it won’t be a big success.

This has nothing to do with what I asked that other poster but whatever floats your boat man. How you choose to look at it is not for me to say

what the Government has successfully done here is farm out censorship to the private sector. It's genius.

The Government gets to sit back and say Hey, we're not doing it, Twitter is. all the while Twitter is being run by like minded political activists.

When I was a kid I was taught to believe the Government was the only threat to the 1st amendment. I never would've believed in a thousand years however that our greatest threat to free speech would come from the private sector.

Genius political maneuvering right there.

There's a word for that. It's called fascism. But that's nothing new for leftists. It's what they do. It's what they are.

Oh sorry I was just responding to the o.p. not trying to get into a whole debate over Twitter being a free speech platform. I don't even use it.

Whether you like Trump or not is irrelevant. The rank hypocrisy of kicking him off but letting ISIS leaders, Taliban, tin pot dictators, and other unseemly figures roam free is just insane.

There is NO 1st amendment right to be on Twitter, nor FB, nor TD, etc. Nowhere does it say that everyone share the same access platforms. Ironically, you do enjoy freedom of expression at work, in court, etc.. But nowhere does it say that it is without consequence.

Who’s making that argument?

But there is a valid argument that social media is the modern day town square and principles of free speech should carry over to that.

Don’t worry, your boy already created a federal truth ministry to protect you from evil Trump’s evil misinformation.

The joke would be millions return to Twitter and Truth would continue to flounder.

Truth can be a matter of opinion in many cases. Freedom of speech as I take is the ability of cock gobblers like yourself to be able to spew whatever jizz you’re talking Points of the day tell you to spit out, and allow people like myself to let you know how much of a total prog POS you really are!!!

You can’t stand the fact that if musk wins out, you and your filth will finally be able to be called out, have you’re noses rubbed in shite( which I really believe you’d like), and be put in your place.

You and your ilk hate it when normal people are actually allowed free speech!!

Go suck a cock, or rim out your master.. you are absolutely pathetic!!!

Take Spleen and if the rest of you with you!!!

I think the problem with Truth Social is it is more of a political social media outlet, whereas Twitter is a lot of casual/ non political content, with a lot of political content mingled in. People browsing for casual content won't change from Twitter where non political content is plentiful to Truth social that has a smaller user base and was designed specifically for political reasons. I could be proven wrong in the end, but I'm guessing 50% or more of the user base on Twitter don't care about politics to the degree that people on Truth would care about.

quite literally is how this works.

Courts have even ruled that it's so much of a town square/public forum that public officials(specifically Trump) couldn't block users.

you definitely lack the understanding of those rulings if you think that’s what was stated.

Ok then you’re in favor of making it a public utility because that’s pretty much the only way you can claim it’s a freedom of speech issue because that doesn’t apply to private companies

They are doing it at the governments bidding. Sneaky, but still illegal.
