I've already set a cap at $1k for fireworks and i have a couple of friends with similar budgets to pool together.

restocked my cigars, beer, bourbon and buying a shitton of hot dogs and hamburger meat today and we're going to lob bombs over the lake until the air smells like gunpowder and something blows up in my hand.

wives have no idea me and my buddy who is a 260lb puerto rican dude bought obnoxious shirts (below) we're going to pull out right before the festivities start.

AMERICA HELL YEAH!

Make sure to calculate your cost savings over last year's haul. It had better be more than 16 cents.

I wonder which OTer doesn’t yet realize they are experiencing their last few days with 10 fingers.

I'm gonna be rocking my Charlie Kirk FREEDOM tshirt while I sit in a lawn chair and enjoy the fireworks in God's country. (NW Arkansas)

I picked up 10k worth of fireworks this year. Going big for 250, but won't do it like this ever again. Too much damn work.

I bought 2 American themed slip n slides for my niece and nephews. That party barge and Mastercraft have full gas tanks. All I need to do now is stock up on adult beverages.

Hopefully you were able to buy the box sets that are setup to light a single fuse that then lights each individual fuse of 12 - 18 boom booms, one after the other. We do ~$2000 worth every NYE and that usually last 40 - 50 minutes. 10K gonna be impressive.

I am going to buy a nice bottle of bourbon to bring to my friend's BBQ and have a day. I have a new 'Murica shirt too that the wife hasn't seen yet. Mine is a bit more conservative that yours. Those are awesome by the way.

I am old enough to remember the 200th anniversary. I was only a teenager, but it was an awesome celebration. I doubt it entered any American's mind to not celebrate it like the left is saying today.

I can go along with the hot dogs and hamburger, but I'm not spending a grand on fireworks or wearing either of those gosh awful shirts.

I use a single fuse for the entire show. That being said, this year is double what I normally do. I thought about buying an electric firing system but decided against it since this year's size will be an anomaly. The show could go almost an hour but I will try to reduce it as much as possible by having a really huge mid section (basically finale for most people's shows) and an obscene finale.
