Husband was strangling his wife in front yard at 2:00 am. A neighbor shot the husband to rescue her.
How long until a plaintiff lawyer convinces the wi fe to sue the neighbor and his homeowners insurance for killing the husband. Its for the kids will be the operative phrase.

Apparently the boyfriend came over and got in a fight with his girl and was stabbing her on the front lawn when a neighbor came out and shot him. So I guess not “murder”.
If I’m on the jury the shooter is walking.

He won't be arested or charged.
If he talks any more to the cops or DA, he should have his attorney present. He has that right.
No doubt he should talk to attorney ASAP. He should also notify his homeowners insurance.
He'll likely be sued by the POS's family for wrongful death, emotional distress, etc.

The way the sheriff worded his comments in his presser, the shooter will not be charged. He said something like “ the shooter prevented further injuries to the victim.”

They should start drug testing families if lawsuits are filed to make sure they aren’t users who will blow the money on alcohol and drugs.
I’m serious this emotional payment stuff has to stop.

He should be getting a civilian medal of heroism in my honest opinion.

Yeah domestic incidents like the Reiners happen every day.

Have some family friends who live in the neighborhood.
Allegedly, the survivor has pressed charges against the deceased/did the whole restraining order deal. Her ex-husband had been beating on her for awhile.
Stabber breaks into the house, starts stabbing woman. She makes it out a window into the front yard, where the neighbor hears screaming. Neighbor comes around, sees what’s happening, grabs gun and shoots Shane in leg. That didn’t stop Shane as the shot was in the leg, continued to try to stab the woman and neighbor walked up and put one in his head.
fricked up world and thank god the neighbor was home.

When you say didn’t stop Shane, what does that mean? After getting shot the man was still trying to stab her?
