How would you know this?

Never thought of this, but now I 100% believe it to be true. Not to mention, no one is ever in those stores.

I just bought a mattress from there last weekend. Second one I bought for myself in 7 years and the 5th I’ve bought over all in tht same time period.

People are stupid.

Eta there were three customers there including me. One dude working.

I bought mine 70% off.

I’ve heard from sauces that the Las Vegas shooter was close to breaking this story but the CIA and Saudi intelligence (who obviously are both in on it too) set him up on with that whole concert shooting thing to eliminate him. Oh, and gun running. Yeah, gun running.

I don’t think it’s some conspiracy but it was always curious to me how they can have so many stores open even with an insane markup

I have always thought there was something fishy about these mattress stores. My guess is money laundering. When we lived in BR there were two on Millerville, one in front of Target and one next door to Target.

Mattress Firm home base is Houston, TX (kind of close to Mexico). There are 3500 to 3600 stores nationwide. That’s more than 60 in each state. Mattresses???

What was the stereo company that was supposedly associated with the CIA in the 80’s doing essentially the same thing?

Well the CEO did just resign like 1 day ago. Their parent company's CEO also resigned in 12/2017, so maybe there's something to this.

I’ve been saying this for years. Ever since there were two in the same Parking lot on millerville.

About 3 years ago I went to the mattress store on corporate in Baton Rouge to pick up a twin size mattress, I think it was a Wednesday or Thursday, around 5pm and there was 1 sales man working and he told me I was the first sale of the WEEK. of the week. Wth? How the hell do they stay open then.

Can someone please explain how a mattress store that probably does 95% of its transactions through credit cards would have any usefulness laundering money?
