You factor in that a lot of people sleep two to a bed so divide the population by about 12 and that’s your yearly mattress sales.

So dfw has 6 million folks so that’s 500000 a year.

Then I wonder who does bulk sales to hotels?

So if one of those small stores could get by selling 1000 a year that would be 500 stores but then you have to take away the sales by furniture stores. I dunno you need a lot of mattress stored

My mattress came with a 20 year warranty. Since imma light sleeper, I’m going for 35 years.

So what’s the consensus? They laundering money? What’s the front for?

The markup on mattresses is huge.

There are about as many people in those stores as there are in those GNC supplement vitamin stores that used to be in th mall.

Personally I also enjoyed the organ/piano stores in the malls that nobody shopped in too.

Wouldn’t all of the accountants that work in there know if they were laundering money?

I don’t think it’s possible to launder the amount of money it would take to keep all those stores open without many employees being in on it.

I wouldn’t sleep on that money laundering idea!
