Can someone pleas explain how a mattress store that probably does 95% of its transactions through credit cards would have any usefulness laundering money?
It doesn’t matter what the actual cc transactions are. The point of laundering money is to add it to the books as legitimate Sales to then be distributed as clean money. You could be entering fraudulent cash Sales on the books but the problem with using a mattress store is that there should be inventory to offset the sale, which you wouldn’t have if it was bogus. Much more likely an entertainment venue like a laser tag or go cart place is laundering money since there is no inventory to track.

Who in their right mind would launder money at a mattress store in Vegas when there are so many casinos totally willing to help out for a small fee?

Best bet is a laundromat
That's where I launder money

I dry clean mine. I’m kind of a big deal though.

There is an intersection near me here in Atlanta that has 2 Mattress Factory stores across the intersection from one another. Same exact "outlet" store 50 yards from one another.

Two in Alexandria less than three miles apart.

I wonder if the Baton Rouge matress market is really screwed up since the floods. A lot of people bought in late 2016 and reset their clock, so might be light for a few years, especially out in places like Denham.

There are also car dealerships everywhere. I bet the average household has more mattresses than cars.
