Can't see myself ever going to Nola again other than the airport or for work purposes.

None. I'll be moving to Texas or some state that's not a complete shithole sometime this year hopefully

I'm told nola is no worse than it used to be. There's always been cars stolen in the city.

This is nothing compared to what Mel Gibson would have done to the city

Maddening, but who in their right mind parks their truck and leaves their gun inside? How clueless can these people be?

Should they have brought it into the Dome?

What people need to realize is that this is a combination of voting for far leftist leaders(Mayor, Soros funded DA, Judges) who refuse to enforce the law & a sharp decline in the number police officers. It has been reported they are under 800 officers in a city of around 350K. What do these mostly white Uptown/Mid City/Bywater hipsters think Defund The Police means when they march down Poydras due to a knucklehead Minneapolis police officer in 2020 & after? Based on what is going on nothing is going to change & this city is going to only get worse. These citizens have to stand up & fight for the city even it means "offending" people

Your posts reflect my sentiment every time, we must be related

But you are correct, I'll never go to NOLA if I don't have to for business. MSY, I can skip the shithole for the most part.

You would think after the NFL and NBA contacted the city about this, they would be on their shite today but

Jordan will be here shortly saying how this was the bad paid lots and it's their fault. City is fine.

Spot on. At first, people were called idiots for parking under/near the expressway for free.

So now they pay to park and are still victimized. They’ll be labeled “idiots” because they didn’t park in the Dome. Parking in the Done will not deter these thieves.

NOPD just announced they would step up patrols around parking at these sporting events. Great job! I blame the people who didn’t vote for Teedy as well as those who did. If you haven’t taken a couple of hours to go to a city council meeting and spark out, you are part of the problem.
