How do you even go fast enough right there?

ETA: Nevermind, didn’t realize it was a motorcycle.

I feel that crotch rocket was the one I heard flying down Highland around the Kenilworth area earlier this evening, and almost every night this week.

The car has been burning and fatalities assumed, and the chick Molly who runs RedCupLSU Instagram made a meme video of it joking about it “being her brain while currently studying”. Used the fire emojis and all.

Lasted maybe 7 minutes because everyone was disgusted at such gross insensitivity.

I'm in Houston and those f's have a death wish. I'm a mile from I-10 and I hear them screaming by all night. They squeeze through cars doing 85 mph side by side on all the freeways. That's begging for death or paralysis.

Almost hit one getting over a lane the other week. Was going a good 20 mph faster than me. Stupid.

Motorcycle had to have been going the speed of light to cave in the side of a car that way. Slow tf down people!

This is terrible. Like another poster hinted, you almost have to use your imagination to find the motorbike in the photo.

I take it the motorbike was speeding but did the car run a redlight?

The bikers don't concern me on I-10, they're the ones that will get splattered, not me. The people driving at dusk and at night with no lights on are much more likely to be able to argue it was my fault for not seeing them and causing a wreck.

The shitheads on Memorial can be even worse on certain nights.

That’s a terrible wreck.

I'm noticing this more and more here. What a stupid thing to do.

It's over-reliance on the car to do everything for you, I think. You don't notice when your high beams are on, you don't notice when you only have parking lights on doing 65, you don't know that your mirrors exist because of blind spot sensors (which don't tend to work well when you're doing 45 on a freeway, and I'm doing 65.)

Cops don't pull them over, but have a hard on for anyone using an HOV only lane with only one person or a kid in the back that can't be seen. And only on the afternoon commute when it's light out. Funny that.

Michael Jackson, former NFL wr player for the Browns and USM Brett Favres team was killed years ago on a bike near his old town of Kentwood. He was going so fast that he basically cut the car in half that had backed out into the road. Killed that driver too.

For a bike to do that much damage, I'd say he was doing 80+. He caved from the front fender all the way back to the rear quarter panel and you can see in the pic how the back passenger door has pulled away from the body.

I live in Mid-City of N.O. and close to I-10 where it heads into Metairie and I often hear sport bikes ripping down the interstate like it's the Isle of Mann and they are TT racers.

There's even one who rips down Banks St. that I hear, and judging by the exhaust and engine revving sounds, I'd say at least 70 at times. All it take is one person backing out of a driveway or leaving from a side street seeing the bike a block away and not knowing how fast he can close that distance at that speed-----------and another fatality or idiot maimed for life due to bad decisions.

I am sure everyone living on Highland between Gardere and Lee will enjoy the break, but no doubt it will be short lived.

My guess is the cops started cracking down on that shite on Burbank, so they moved it to Highland. I hear less off in the distance now but more right in front of the house.

I hear them just about every evening screaming down Bluebonnet at the stretch in front of Great Hearts near Nicholson. Wish more cops would sit there.

Hoping it was one of those guys. Judging by the damage I assume it was - just incredibly unfortunate others were involved in their bad decisions.
