I remember MTV Spring Break would start about the week before we got off at LSU. That shite would pump you up. We couldn't wait to get to Florida.

Yeah...that was a good show, but I what remember most is Kahri. Did some bad things to myself watching her back in the day.

After the mid 90s when grunge began subsiding it turned to pure trash. TRL came about, Real World took over, etc. Carson Daly with Britney Spears and Limp Bizkit... just the worst.

Dunno why they abandoned something that worked so well. Everyone clamors for music videos but they ignore them and just play dumb shite all the time

Even in the 2000s MTV still had a lot of music with shite like TRL and blocks dedicated to new music videos

Also lot's of good shows

It was. But most people that claim to have seen the launch are full of it. It was only available in a few cities. Even the VJ's had to go to New Jersey to see it because NYC didn't have Mtv.
