Moving to Bay St Louis/Pass Christian

The moon and stars have finally aligned in my favor and I'll be transferring from the bad swamp (DC) to the good swamp (Stennis) later this month. I'm definitely looking forward to living on the Gulf Coast and exploring the area in my fishing kayak.
Hit me up (username@gmail) if you would like to meet up for an adult beverage and share some intel on the area.
Cheers,
BB

Buoy's Bar in BSL will remind you of a shitty college bar in Tigerland. Free shots every time a train rolls by.
Biloxi finally got a movie tavern type of place.
Don't speed in Long Beach.

Plenty of good Kayak fishing fresh and salt.
If you live in Diamondhead you wont have any red-lights between your house and work
Food isn't as good as the neighbors across the state line but it isn't bad and you have access to fresh seafood.
Stennis is called "The Rest Site" but must of the people I know who work there
Beware of the Gnats on the south end of Hancock County

I'll be in BSL in temp housing till I move to PC at the end of the month. Finding a suitable long term rental was challenging due to all the Air B&B/VRBO units in the area. Former Navy Officer, now a Govie.

Will you share some govt intel with me?

I'm sure I will get plenty of down votes but Pass Christian is my least favorite place in that area.

Biloxi/OS is the best. Good food and baseball.

The Pass is kinda lame if you don't like to fish every day.
That Bacchus on the beach is one of my favorite spots though.

I find it to be very admirable.
