I think I was 13 and my dad took me to see RoboCop. I remember after him telling me to not tell my mom to many details. We both loved the movie

Spaceballs
Funny as hell but incredibly vulgar for a PG movie considering how old we were.
A few years after that would be Total Recall, which was my first R rated movie in the theater IIRC.
Not counted - Me getting dropped off to see Natural Born Killers, underage, without them buying the ticket for me. Thankfully they sold me the ticket instead of forcing me to buy one for In The Army Now and theater hop.

Scarface at the Twin City Mall in Monroe. I was 10 and my brother was 13. After about the first 10 minutes, my dad gave us $20 a piece and told us to go hang out in the mall until the movie was over.
That same year, my religious grandmother took me and my brother to see the original Vacation with Chevy Chase. Very awkward moment when Clark lost it in the car when the rest of the family wanted to go home.

I was older than 3 but I watched that movie pretty young too. The Exorcist too but neither in the theater.

Yeah, we had HBO so I was exposed to that one around the same age. The tree didn’t get me nearly as much as the scientist hallucinating in the kitchen and bathroom.
Whenever my sister wanted the TV to herself, she would say she was putting Poltergeist in the VCR to make me disappear.

my parents rarely took us to movies. but, i had a sister who was a lot older. her and her husband brought us to several movies that were definitely not age appropriate.
