Hmmm...not really.

Sure, that works.

Or, what cadence would you like them on?

Don't let the word hurt you. It only has power over you if you let it!

alignment

“Horizontal or vertical alignment? We need to find the sweet spot of a little of both.”

It’s being used ad nauseam in education right now.

Oh yeah we use this.

Instead asking clients "how regularly do you want to meet?"

You say "What's your desired meeting cadence?"

Then they think you're all smart and shite

We're going to need to table this and circle back next week... perhaps we should have a pre-meeting roundtable to flesh out friction points ahead of time.

This is what happens when you sell MBAs and make it the major requirement for a management position

I remember when "being disruptive" and "shifting paradigms" were the thing.

I'm old.

Yep, at our company, the phraseology always changes to describe the same processes, but nothing concrete ever changes.

That is true, cadence is important. You can't have synergy if everyone is on a different cadence.

At my company, cadence has definitely been a buzz word.

Also, the groups that had been working from home since covid are reporting back to the offices so they can "collaborate" now.

That’s fine as long as we can debrief after we circle back.
