Random restaurant in St. Lucia ran into someone I knew. Maybe 15 people in the whole place and we were seated 2 tables away. Very random.

When I was in probably the 4th grade I ran into the most annoying girl in my class atop the Empire State Building and my Mom made me take a picture with her. My hairless jimmies were quite rustled.

I was on a bus in Park City Utah and Natalie Hollaway's mom got on at the first stop and a doc I worked with got on at the second. Everyone on the bus was from Birmingham...it was odd.

ran into a us navy captain and my ex-CO at a bar/hooker joint in tiajuana mexico. no big deal right?!? all active duty was restricted from going down there. dude was still the commander of a unit. i had gotten out of the navy so i was good but the skipper gave no fricks.

Ran into a guy I worked with a couple of times on a tour of Fenway. The old tour leader guy was asking where everyone was from so be could make fun of them and when he asked my wife we heard a "Geaux Tigers" in the crowd.
Later on we both recognized each other we thought...and were like "uh....so-and-so?"
Was weird.

Grew up with a guy five houses down k-12. After high school he moved to Ohio. Never saw or talked to him again.
25 years later he sat down at a table next to me at Mission Ranch restaurant in Carmel, California. Had a nice chat, met each others spouses and enjoyed a bottle of wine.
6 years after that I'm fishing, late July in Bemidji, Minnesota, walk into a small bar known for cold beer and great cheeseburgers and damn if he isn't sitting at the bar eating a cheeseburger and drinking a cold beer.
Couple months ago walking through Atlanta airport he calls my name from his gate as I walk by.
I'm sure I'll see him somewhere random in the future.

Ran into some classmates in cinque terre, Italy. Seriously had no idea they were going to be there (nor did my then-girlfriend wife, who was also a classmate)

At the school I used to teach at, we had every Monday off. One day I ran into 4 other women from my school at the gyno's office. Apparently everyone went to a dr. in that office complex and we had all scheduled our annual exams for that day without knowing it. It was weird.
