Titty Bar in Atlanta nearly 25 yrs ago. I was tipping a dancer at the end of a stage and turned to head back to my seat away from the stage and then.....I saw........him........ It was a Deacon from a local church. We locked eyes for a second, I nodded, and he turned and headed out of the club. Shame he did not stay and have a beer with me. CSB.

The center of my football team in HS enlisted in the Marines. I played QB and then went the ROTC route and then to Pensacola for flight school.
Fast forward years later and I'm in the weight room at then MCAS Tustin, CA and Butch walks in. He was by then a SSGt and had just transferred to the West Coast.

1992- On travel to the Aberdeen, MD area. Never eaten anywhere near Aberdeen and asked a few folks in a meeting where to get some decent seafood. They stated Harve De Grace- McGregors- it's on the Chesapeake Bay (right off I 95). I traveled up from Huntsville, AL. My parents lived at West Point, NY. As I was eating (Monday night- light crowd) my parents walked into the restaurant......talk about small world. They didn't know I was traveling- I didn't know they were passing trhu from DC to NY.

Rockefeller Plaza - sister in law, who I was with, ran into friends from her hometown of Kentucky
the real winner is running into my best friend in Bahrain after being flown off the stennis. fricking crazy circumstances and really a lifesaver

But in all seriousness I ran into a friend of mine from 6th grade at the LSU vs Bama game last year by pure coincidence and it was pretty awesome.
