Numbers of people in the Military is one thing. Training and capability is another. The simple fact of the matter is, no matter the size, no other country in the world dedicates as much time and training on Command and Control or the Operation Art that the US.
And another thing that isn't borne out in those types of videos is actual war fighting capability. What was the last major war China was directly involved in? Korea. The weapons and tactics of warfighting have changed immensely since then. Has China kept up? Same with Russia. When was the last time they had a significant ground war? Chechnya? Tajikistan? Afghanistan?

I’m sure we have much more advanced capabilities placed in very strategic locations that give us a serious leg up on potential potential foes. Missile defense and such. While at the same time and place a quicker and more accurate strike capability. All that to say we likely have an advantage in terms of the “mutually assured destruction” concept, resulting in a stronger deterrence game than all the others.
Just spitballing, I have zero advanced knowledge on the subject(s). Shooting from the hip.

Russia is stronger than China?

The distance the Guard/Reserves have come since 9/11 is remarkable.
Should make you nervous
Or maybe make you feel protected in the inevitable collapse that the guardsman of your state will help defend it against the invaders.
It’ll be interesting to see which way that goes

The political and socioeconomic divide in this country driven by selfish politicians is our biggest threat - this applies to both sides of the aisle.
We are our own threat.

We might have the hardware but do we have the generals and admirals to successfully fight a war.For quite a few years now promotions have been based not on war fighting prowess.Rather ,it’s been on their arsekissing and bootlicking abilities.
I saw an inkling of this when I was in the NavyI was on Shore Patrol in Rota Spain. The Security Officer was a Commander( equivelant of LtCol).4-5 nights a week someone got sent to pick him up from an officer party, sometimes O club, sometimes another officer house.
I was kinda bold for young sailor, one night I asked him if he didn’t get tired of going to parties so many nights a week.He said yes I do but “ that’s how you get ahead in this man’s navy”.
I was smart enough to keep my mouth shut but I was not impressed with his answer.
Later on in the 70’s Col David Hackworth said there were no more warrior generals ,only political animals.

Doesn't matter. In an old 90's episode of "The X-Files" someone told Mulder:
"The superpowers of the future will not have the most or best soldiers. They will have the best scientists."
As proven by Covid. It's amazing how much foretelling of future events and social trends were in that series.

now simply remove the nukes from the equation and we arent even going to be on the list as we will be around #20 in the world most powerful military
we are only #1 because of the nukes and not because the military scares anyone
The sad part is you aren't (just) stupid you are actually wishcasting.
I will go one step further and point out you have never commanded troops in the military because you don't understand the concept of force multiplication.

North Korea has the largest army by a lot.
The only problem is they’re all fighting with backyard shovels and hoes.

Our military would never drop a nuke nowadays.
Only in retaliation. Of course, any leader dumb enough to launch first will be responsible for ending the human race.

They got that old Soviet arms and tech. And the soldiers themselves are malnourished compared to their South Korean counterparts

The US is a fricking laughing stock now. Apparently the brass think we can win with diversity and lgbtq readiness alone. We're fricked.
