Maybe I just value diversity a bit too much but the blue ridge/appalachian mountains are gorgeous
I'll give you Arkansas and Florida, but parts of Texas are pretty awesome. The Hill Country and Big Bend alone probably put Texas in the top half.
Kentucky is very similar to Tennessee going west to east, but I think the central part of Kentucky (the horse farm area) is a little more scenic than the central part of Tennessee, and Kentucky has a little more biodiversity.
Kentucky also has the most spectacular cave system in America, too.

How can Texas be over Arkansas? Texas doesn't even have a fall and is boring as shite to drive through.

Oregon has a smaller area of rainforest but does have some.
My knowledge of both states trumps basically everyone on this board. You can read all you want but if you've seen what I've seen it's OR>WA.
Not crapping on WA at all. I love the NW as a whole.
Eta...speaking of whom has what, Oregon has more waterfalls than WA can shake a stick at.

No doubt CA #1. LA has some really pretty spots though. Just no mountains, and no rugged coastline that is driveable.
