That was an awful list. Michigan and South Dakota above Arizona, New Mexico, and Idaho? Are you kidding me?

Can't really argue with that.. I never been to Hawaii or Alaska and I know Hawaii is considered "paradise", but I don't like the Hawaii scenery as much as most people do.. I don't know why, but it never really appealed to me.

Too high as in their ranking should be closer to number 1?

Also, Nevada being number 36 is probably the dumbest thing about this list.

You ever been a little north of B'Ham in the fall. It's actually pretty awesome (not from Bama).

I've been a lot of places, and Hawaii is still the most beautiful places I've been.

But if you beautiful greenery, waterfalls, mountains, and water doesn't appeal to you, along with absolutely perfect weather, sure.

In no particular order New Mexico, Arizona, Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and South Dakota are the most beautiful.

I have apparently visited the wrong parts of Texas. I never would have thought it would be mentioned as one of the prettiest states in the country.

NORCO deserves its picture spot next to the Grand Canyon and Mt. Rainier IMO

No issues with the list for the most part. I would rank Nevada higher.

New Zealand is the most beautiful place I've seen and California is the only state close to it, especially the variety of scenery, wine country, etc.... so #1 is deserved.
