Yeah, I’m usually not a grammar nazi because I frick up myself. But your mistake in this thread I had to jump. I’m surprised I was on it first.

I didn’t get that one. My question was, “What took place at the constitutional convention?”

If you were to choose “The constitution was written”, you’d be correct.

The civil war question was biased. Almost didn't answer it because it was not properly described as the "War of Northern Aggression"

Then the list of choices for one of the reasons for the war did not include states rights.

But the pressure to make a 100 was too great, so I capitulated.

If nearly half of all citizens can't pass that pathetically easy quiz,
I'm not surprised. I worked a student job in the 70s gathering order forms from HS seniors for grad supplies. You wouldn't believe how many couldn't spell the name of their own school, or even Louisiana. I won't even talk about the math of adding up their purchases.

I really didn't know exactly why Susan B Anthony was famous but I used superior test taking skills.

I thought Men had to register for Selective Service at 18. Not between 18 and 26.

Did they change it?

Back in the 70's when it first passed you had to register on your 18th birthday.

If they did change it, do women have to register too? Seems only fair.

I helped a man prepare for the citizenship test last year. There are some questions I might get tripped up on, but there's no way that I would fail, even without any prep.
