Of all the cults in the world, they are one of ones along with Texas A&M with the nicest, hardworking people who are not part of the major problems we have in this country.

for the sake of this discussion, you may want to be more specific than just using the word "Christians".

Mormons also fall under the umbrella of Christianity. The official name of their church is even The Church of JESUS CHRIST and Latter Day Saints.

Nah, I'm good.

They're free to call themselves whatever they like, but they aren't Christians in the defined sense, and they aren't a Christian denomination.

Do the Mormons actually live their faith out better than Christians. There are definitely more Christians than Mormons so maybe it just looks that way.

they believe in Christ as their Savior and the Son of God.

that makes them Christians by definition.

Mormons were the ones that volunteered to come and gut our house after the 2016 flood. They did a fantastic job and were amazing people. Couldn't have made it without them. They live their faith and they are very humble people.

The average Mormon does a much better job of living up to their purported values than most other religions and denominations.
yep

they live the golden rule, the very definition of Christian behavior. Extraordinarily rare among those who call themselves Christian

same for me after Ida, which made a way bigger mess at my place than Katrina or georges. I was by myself and could not get up my driveway to the house for all the downed trees. I’m out there killing myself with an 18” saw these guys roll up, unannounced, with a tractor, skid steer and a trailer full of guys with saws and had my shite in a pile by the street after one day. I begged them to take some money but they refused. We wound up buying a couple hundred pounds of beef and chicken from a farm we knew and fed them at their campground

Unbelievable act of charity…I damn near broke out in to tears at their selflessness

Galatians basically lays it out that Joseph Smith is full of crap yet he deceived millions and therefore we have Mormons still. Great people but seriously misled.

They believe in a different Jesus. They believe there are infinite gods and they’ll become one too and God the father is one of many gods.

Mormons do not believe in the trinity. They believe Jesus was created by the father and is Satans brother. It’s not the same thing.

Mainstream Christianity have been around for 2000 years.

The Mormon faith originated around 1830.

They've done pretty well in terms of increasing their numbers and spreading their faith across the world in less than 200 years.

Non-Mormon Christianity got a significant head start.

It’s obviously anecdotal, but the handful of Mormon families I have lived around have all been extremely nice and helpful to other neighbors with nice and respectful children. Religion was never pushed or really discussed outside of mentioning going to or just back from church.

Non-Mormon Christianity

Well, that's a new one.

Mormons have unique beliefs, and are not a Christian denomination.

To say they a Christian denomination like Catholics, Lutherans, Baptists, etc. is to change the definition of Christianity. Feel free to do that, but theologians don't agree with you.

Beautiful stuff, thank you for sharing.

Only Jesus Christ will judge us all. Acts of love for a stranger like this speak more than pontifications from a pulpit.
