People bitched and complained about Kenny Chesney 20-25 years ago. Now it’s Luke Combs and Wallen. Some people just never like or understand the new stuff. It’s always going back to the 90’s era country. I bet people over 50 in the 90’s prefer the country music of the 60’s and 70’s.

Until about the year 2000, mainstream country music sounded like country music. Certain styles and themes changed, but when you heard the music, you knew you were listening to country music.
I prefer 60s and 70s country music to today’s mainstream too and I’m 32 years old.

Just watched that video... I have heard of him but dont know his music. Looked like a bunch of gays but alot of musicians are gay so wouldnt stop me from listening to it in general. just dont care for most country music.

I definitely remember the older folk in the 90s bitching about how country music sounded like pop. They’d blame Garth Brooks.
I loved 90s country then and love it even more now.
