Wife and I drove to the Justice of the Peace in Kenner, listening to "Rockin' Years" by Dolly Parton and Ricky Van Shelton.
There were no bachelor/bachelorette parties, no hooplah, no expensive wedding.
We went and got a hamburger afterwards and couldn't stop smiling. It's the simple things.

Counts lap dances and flirting.

Of course it's cheating. It's a betrayal of trust. And by that time in a relationship you have made the agreement to be faithful; you just haven't formalized it with the State yet.
Unless i'm missing something, vows are on the wedding day, not before.

Meanwhile 11.2 per cent of people said they had slept with someone other than their partner.
That's still pretty damn high when you think about it.
It is a clickbait article. The author lied about the definition of cheating and they lied about the 11% of people admitting to actual cheating. The entire thing is made up by the author in order for them to generate a few clicks in order to not get fired this month and have to go back to telemarketing.

"lack of communication between partners"???
Is the Costanza "if someone would have told me that having sex with a stranger at a bachelor/bachelorette party was frowned upon..." Excuse really used?

Getting a lap dance is cheating? Gtfo with that. That counts per that survey
Todays lap dances allow you to rub/feel tits as she grinds on you. Would you consider it cheating if your spouse basically jerked someone off?

Study was dumb.
Lap dance equals cheating???
A legal lapdance?? No.
VIP dance with happy ending? IMO if my dick goes in a hole it’s cheating.

Isn't the whole point of a Bachelor Party to get one last taste of some strange before getting married?

A lap dance does not equal cheating

It’s definitely somewhat of a gray area.
If I were to say Bob cheated on his wife with a stripper, most people would not be thinking that Bob received a lap dance (nude or not). They’d be thinking Bob boinked a stripper.
And what if Bob goes and keeps it a secret from his wife but still only receives dances? But why the secrecy?
I am sure the feelings vary spouse to spouse.
There’s also the matter of what Bob was doing there. If it was a once in a decade event where he just ended up there with some buddies, that’s a different situation than it being a frequent hobby of his.

The article states the "survey" was conducted by a company called Bonus Finder.
Bonus Finder is a four year old company based in Denmark with less than a dozen employees. It is a user base interface that finds casino and gambling "coupons" for people. Not exactly Gallup.

This all comes back to the boundaries people set in their relationships.
To me, a guy getting a lap dance at his bachelor party isn’t cheating. No more than a girl going to see Chippendales for her bachelorette party.
fricking someone else? Absolutely cheating.

Neither the prospective bride/groom is married at the time, so it isn't cheating.

There is a lot of gray area in the definition of "getting a lap dance" these days. Lap dance out in the open in the public dancing area is very different than "lap dance" in "VIP." Many strippers will have the guy's dick out of his pants for a "lap dance" for a few extra bucks.

That is such bullshite. Maybe 70% of males lie about having the opportunity to cheat, but even that is a significant stretch.
