Dems played to long con on illegal immigration, these people (or their anchor babies) are all going to voting to expand the welfare state. Republicans were such greedy count that they couldn't see the forest through the trees and just saw cheap labor, nevermind the long term consequences. This is a foreign invasion and other countries would be using live round ammunition to put a halt on it by now, Ill bet we see over 200,000 apprehended per month when things pick up in a few months. What we are seeing WILL be the fall of America, a nation that can not secure its own borders is no nation at all and is on life support.

This goes beyond immigration policy. It's economics. The hordes of migrants come here because of our welfare state. And every Republican not named Ron Paul, Thomas Massie or Rand Paul has no problem with budgets that continue to fund the welfare state. This is the logical consequence of a cradle-to-grave welfare state.

We need to stop seeing this as republican v democrat. The establishment wants it this way, and they are happy screwing over the populace, stealing elections, destroying outsiders that get elected when they shouldn't, etc.

let’s not muddy the waters. there is a clear difference in one side sitting on their hands regarding immigration policy and one side actively inviting them here, providing amnesty, pushing for stimulus checks, and suggesting they have voting rights same as legal citizens.

There is some truth to this, more than there should be, but there are other parts to this that are distinctly different between our current two parties.
