More JD Power: Bad news Tesla, Fiat, Land Rover, Volvo, Dodge owners. They are crap per

owners in latest dependability and problems ratings. The industry wide rating by brand say those are the five worst by brand which means all of their vehicles. Tesla actually didn't have the minimum required vehicles out their to report but of the Tesla owners reporting the scored 3rd from the bottom. Fiat was 32 and worst, Land Rover 31 and next to worst and Tesla would have been 30. Volvo and Dodge were next. Top five brands were Lexus #1 then Porsche, Toyota, Chevrolet and Buick. Of iconic and famous brands BMW was not bad @ 7, Mercedes was 13, Ford was second top of the second half @ 17, and Honda continues to fall @ 18. And Acura the luxury part of Honda was almost rock bottom @ 26. Surprising in a good way Mini, an English brand I believe, was 6th.
This info is coming directly from owners of those brands who purchased fairly recently. Ram finished 27 which is not good. But their new truck is beautiful and has a ton of new high tech equipment the others don't have including the partial switch to electric as standard equipment on the Hemi which really helps fuel economy of that big V-8 engine. Then new 2019 Ram truck is not part of the ratings.

Right. My point was that will be the focus of the thread, rather than the vehicles reliability.
No one pays attention to the JD Power awards, like no one cares about the BBB certifications.

I don't know why people continue buy Chrysler vehicles (including Fiat, Dodge, Ram).
Fiat, who has consistently been rated dead arse last of all vehicles, bought Chrysler, who is usually second to last, and people expected them to get better?

Honda at 18 huh? I'm not believing that Chevrolet is above Honda in reliability. Not in my experience

And infotainment issues as well. The Honda/Acura reliability issues are real and possibly the most shocking changes in recent years.
I trust Consumer Reports more than JDP but their brand numbers are similar their bottom five are similar:
GMC
RAM
Tesla
Cadillac
Volvo (worst)
Top 5
Lexus #1
Toyota
Mazda
Subaru
Kia

Honda has had a bunch of problems with the redesigned CRV and oil in the engine.

I’m on my second TL(2012) and haven’t any problems at 175k, first one gave up with 250k. As the years go by, they’re consistently getting uglier and worse reviews.

The 2nd gen TLs were solid cars for the most part, the 1st gen TLs along with the CLs had horribly tranny issues.
