one of my podnuhs arrested a retired cop for drunk driving. he was over twice the legal limit. he caught hell for it because most of the other cops thought he should have just given him a ride home instead of holding him to the same standard as everybody else. I'm proud of him for doing it.

Yep. One day these people will finally make the connection to size of government and the required number of enforcement officers required.
The only solution to citizen contact by cop is reduce the size and scope of government significantly.

Also some frickery outta Troop F was the fatal accident involving Col Reeves son who is a Trooper in that outfit of bumbling bungholes. He was found at fault for killing 2 females ages 18 and 11.
He hit them traveling 77mph in a 55mph zone while responding to a non emergency call and was deemed "not paying attention".
He had been involved in 3 previous accidents in state police vehicles.
What was his punishment? 4mths unpaid leave.
He went back to work in Feb 2021 like nothing ever happened.

Knew Brown growing up..If he didnt become a cop, he would have had little options for work. Least shocking thing ever that he would get busted for #1 doing this and #2 not caring enough to even hide it and just blab over in writing/video.

John Bel Edwards has ruined and seriously damaged the Louisiana State Police.
It was a widely respected law enforcement organization with a sterling record of honest and professional policing but now under JBE, it has been nothing but shite show after shite show.
The LSP needs an enema once JBE is gone and a wholesale staff and culture change.

You'd think that cops would want to weed the bad cops out of their systems, since that is what causes a lot of hassle for them as a whole. That makes sense to me. Protecting fellow cops no matter what or no matter how big of pieces of shite they are seems counterintuitive to what they should be trying to accomplish.
