for pure black, hot coffee, it's S. American light to light-medium. I cold-brew dark roast and drink on ice with heavy whipping cream. If it's bulletproof, then i don't really care.

Community dark roast. I'm too lazy to grind, so I open a new bag every day.

As someone who roasts, grinds, packs and ships coffee for a living for the largest coffee company in the country with the largest US market share of Roast & Ground coffee, I can state with 100% fact that lighter roast coffees have MORE caffeine.
The longer a bean is roasted in order to get it darker, the more caffeine it loses. Period. End of discussion.
So all you "I need my dark roast in the mornings to wake up" people... Suck it!

I can't stand coffee... I'll drink it whenever I need some pick-me-up on night shifts at work... But it usually has more cream and sugar in it than coffee! Hahaha
