One of these is not like the others. Edit nm actually more than one. I don’t really get what you’re saying.

I agree to an extent

I would take that baby and tell the mother that she will not see that baby until she’s clean - but mother won’t give up the baby in the first place - and this is what happens - then she cleans up, what do you do? Will she stay clean?

What’s the kicker is she obviously wanted the baby - so why do something so stupid? It all reeks of selfishness and immediate gratification.

This is sad. Its sad to say, but this is an extreme example of the fact some kids have no chance in life. Any kid that is being raised by a parent that is a drug addict starts off in a shitty position.

I honestly think that is a problem that we are already seeing in kids 20-22 years and younger (when the oxycontin & heroin addictions started to become a problem. Then throw in meth addicts on top of that).

What a trash bitch.

This shouldn't be a murder charge. Reckless endangerment, yes. Murder, no.

Who's tried to murder someone thru breast feeding?

There are a few women who have tried/done this.

There comes a certain responsibility when you are a mother - and if this woman had a normal birth at a hospital - im sure she was told at least once that some substances pass through with the breast milk

Choices.

There's not always some nefarious thing society is doing to cause people to fail.

Don’t know what the punishment will be, but a tubal ligation should be part of it.

Why? Mom is making bad choices here. She would have just replaced it with something else. You probably want to ban guns because it is those evil things kill people too

We stand today as a collection of our past experiences, and our subconscious mind is always churning, replaying those past experiences, using them to create future stories that never happened.

100% of our choices, actions, and reactions today are created by our past experiences. Our core fears can be created in the first few years of life. These fears that everyone have, and our previous experiences permeate every decision/ interaction we make.

All addictions numb the pain, and are a result of trauma. Trauma is from what happened, or what didn’t happen (neglect). All people who were traumatized do not become addicts, but all addicts were traumatized. These addictions include workaholism, TV and media consumption, and eating. Much of the obesity epidemic is a result of societies pressure for both parents to work and separate from family, causing parental stress, self-medicating, and childhood neglect. The neglected child turns to food for comfort.

Because those of us with shitty childhoods make a decision at some point not to let it control your life, you quit the self destructive behavior and grow the hell up.

This is ridiculous, just come right out and say what you mean, it would be better to be aborted than grow up in abuse. That’s bullshite, but just say it, own it.
