Hispanics and Blacks tend to not really get along.

Also, one of the more insane things I've seen is Black people hating other Black people for how dark they are and vice versa. Weirdest shite out there.

My skin isn't too black but I love fried chicken, koolaid & watermelon and sometimes I get sunburned. I feel attacked!

Mom’s probably more upset about this than those blacks that beat the white to death at one of LeBron’s schools

Are you arguing that the author should have race baited in the headline?

I'm arguing that the author did race-bait in the headline.

quote:

The AP says ONE of the bullies is black (a direct quote).

And what they didn't mention is that ~3/4 of the school's students are hispanic, which leaves the implication that it's evil whites (because when was the last time you saw a headline about any group other than whites committing some form of "racial abuse").

I don't remember anybody's parents suing a school board.

That's because no one went back and told their parents what they were talking about and saying at school because that would get you in trouble. The fastest way to not having friends was to go tell your parents and it resulted in someone else getting in trouble.

There used to be a code at recess.

As others have mentioned, this is a brown vs. black issue, and racial clashes can get ugly between those two groups, especially out west.

Note: almost 88% of the school population is minority

You don’t even want to know their math and English proficiency scores.

Woeful.

I'm honestly surprised they admitted that.

I can tell you one thing... "racism" is associated almost entirely with whites. In this story I am sure NONE of the bullies were white.

You know how I know? Because THAT would have been the headline.

Colorism is real and far more prevalent than white on black racism- it just doesn't make headlines.

What is your point? All I said is that the AP admitted to the bullying, and now I'm getting a lesson on journalistic integratory and colorism.

Brains wonder too much. What I said is what I said. Nothing more.

That's terrible. Obviously bullying is still a thing and horrible. I was expecting a picture showing the boy was mixed or something.

You guys aren't going to believe this, but that was a standard day in elementary school during the 80s. We even talked shite about kid's moms!

So ready to stop pretending words are a problem and "hate crime" is a crime. Are we going to be reading about "he looked at me funny" lawsuits someday?

This seems almost too over the top. You bathe in kool aid? That’s a new one.
