I'm sure she had support from people calling her beautiful and brave. FWIW, I'm pretty sure she would be fine with those comments even if they objectify her by considering only some of her characteristics (e.g. not her stomach).
What leads to the charge of objectification? Seems to largely be either attention from someone considered sexually undesirable or sexual attention directed at someone else instead of the person making the claim of objectification.

She's so brave!!
The reality is that people like her aren't happy with their body image. Otherwise they wouldn't feel the need to seek out "acceptance" of the way they look.
She's overweight. While that doesn't make her a bad person, I'm not going to consider her some kind of martyr just because she doesn't have the will power to eat a bit healthier and exercise more.
Gay people have won their battle (which is fine with me because it really has no affect on my life), but now we get the next group of those with "hurt feelings" coming to the forefront...fat people.
One question...how can SJW's demonize someone like "Honey Boo Boo's mom", yet celebrate this lady as some sort of hero? They're both doing basically the same thing...seeking attention for being fat.
