Reminds of of the dude from Summer School who was in the bathroom for six weeks.

Speaking to WFMY after the news broke that her cousin had been located, Byrd expressed her confusion about the missing person case.

“I kind of want to go outside and scream, 'She’s alive, she’s alive,’ ” Byrd said. “My biggest question is to her … What happened all those years ago in December? What made you leave? What happened?”

“I understand and respect that she doesn’t want any of us to contact her. I’m not angry,” she continued. “The biggest answer I had today was she was alive. Nothing else matters right at this moment.”

You have to be a real shitbag to do something like this to your family. Hopefully she gets run over by a bus later today.

Let's talk about the spouse. He was brought in for questioning on the average once a year during her disappearance. They tried to convict him but the Grand Jury said they didn't have enough. That guy stayed around and raised those kids to the best of his ability.

and likely ostracized by the abandoner's friends and family because they assumed he was responsible for her disappearance

What a scumbag move on her part. Hope they nail her to the wall for child support and abandonment.

No, you're not reading between the lines. Her leaving was a good thing. She could have crashed that van in the lake, and we would have been talking about a different story. When someone wants to go, you let them.

Horeshit. She has to pay the cost for raising the children she abandoned.

yea weird situation. Seems like both sides know she is ok and well. Mom doesnt seem to want to go back to that life and kids can't really do anything about that but glad she is alive.

Why on earth would the authorities honor this "request"? Imagine the pain she inflicted on her family and the money wasted by police trying to find her.
