Well, a) I'm almost 45, so I'm not terribly young, b) before the OT, I'd only ever heard "basic" used to describe a mentally slow/simple person (ironically), and c) on here the term has been used primarily with respect to the basic bitch hairdo and all things appurtenant thereto.

This mom is indeed a hot basic bitch, but a basic bitch nonetheless.

Oh and I looked up basic bitch and saw references to it online dating back to the early 2000s and an Urban Dictionary entry from 2009. So there's that basic fact. Basically, you're misguided when it comes to basic bitches.

Like I said it was shared by a lot of people on Facebook. Most of the comments were completely ignorant, etc. I’m sure it blew up too much so they called the police on her since the kids are minors.

If this is the case it makes this situation even more ridiculous. I am going to have to go read up on this law about it being illegal to post material of illegal activity. New outlets post videos of illegal activity all the time.

So if it's illegal for a Louisiana citizen to post criminal activity, if a Louisiana citizen wants something posted online all they have to do is text it to someone out of state and ask them to post it?

She's fixing to get paid.

I don’t know schools there, but what race are the 2 kids fighting? I have been thinking they were white this whole time, but the video & pics at link kind of blackface/Zulu black paints them in an attempt to mask their faces to the point of not being quite as sure anymore.

In discussion under ScottPDs FB post a few black females from area were trying to imply race was reason posters of videos of one of their kids getting beat up were not arrested. I assumed they were talking about cops only trying to stop posting fights that involve & therefore protect white minors (obviously not realizing that they are complaining about cops following the law in their case under a post where cops did not follow law when they arrested a white female). At the time this further entrenched me thinking kids fighting were white and that these ladies were the type to always look for something racial, but again not as sure after watching video.

Still don’t get how police were involved with post in first place. It’s clear in video officer and school employees got involved late & possibly saw final blow, so no one would think they need to report it again or had any duty of care with those 2 kids to report it or call the school first. They didn’t charge her as a principal or accessory to the crime in video, so law that was applied stopped being applicable 2 lines into its 1st paragraph. They are reaching for something to the point usually seen when race is involved and trying to placate people temporarily until everyone moves on, but I didn’t think this fit here if kids were white like I was thinking initially.

I am confused. Are you saying the video was of black kids fighting and the parents of the black kids were saying that whoever posted the fight needed to be arrested and since the person who posted it was white, they were not arrested?

So she was arrested just to quiet people making it a racial thing?

It's interesting how the Seinfeld finale is now something that actually happens.
