Now she gets HALF ! and probably extended alimony. Someone wooed him on the road. The old stick your head in the sand break up. He’ll try to come crawling back.

Going on the road in the MLB is a different animal than anything us normies here on the OT have ever experienced. I know some guys who played in the MLB and say there are groups of girls literally waiting at the hotel bar the visiting team is staying on the road, and have broken up many MLB marriages. I imagine the temptation would be intense under these circumstances.

Or, hear me out, the dogs were picked out by her, annoying yappy little mutts he never really cared for and is happy to let her keep, or ones that he never really bonded with because he was on the road, and she’s just framing it that way to make him look bad.
Looking at social media, it was two labs named Hank and Merle and they were duck hunting dogs that he left behind

Reminds of a story I heard on some sports show years ago about some major league player, I forget which one but he had gotten a base hit and while waiting for the next batter to get going started chatting with the first baseman.

He pointed towards one area of the stands and said that's my old lady sitting there and then pointed towards another area and said that's my side piece over there. The first baseman replied that it was nothing new or unusual.

Then he told him, yeah but the one neither one of them know about is sitting over there. Apparently that's a true story

Hmmmm…maybe it is as she said and baw just got a hold of some voodoo punani and fell right in that thing and got lost.

She’s gonna get paid either way, I’m sure she can console herself in a mile of dick and millions of dollars.

Been in that arena before, fortunately in the days before cell phones, caller ID, and internet. Married guys would have to be huge dumbasses to play with that dynamite these days.

Dude, your divorce fricked you up six ways from Sunday. You’re nothing more than damaged goods spewing bitterness in every thread like this.

MLB players have had spring training wives, road wives, women stashed everywhere forever. Don’t know how they do it these days because no one can keep their mouths shut anymore. Too much trouble for that nonsense.

Sure. #believeallwomen

How did that work out?

Look, dudes are shitbags sometimes. Myself included.

But the media paints dudes automatically as shitbags, with no remorse or nuance, based on nothing more than a woman’s word.

Look what they did to Johnny fricking Depp. You don’t see it as a bigger problem?

Either way, they don’t have kids and she’s about to get paid.

This social media NY post nonsense is for attention and to hurt him. And maybe he deserves it. Maybe he is just a horrible shitbag with a good arm and she was a perfect wife.

What I don’t get is, you don’t have kids and he obviously doesn’t want to be with you. Count your losses, cut bait and enjoy a comfy life in payment for once being married to a ball player.

I assure you she can find another eligible bachelor to fill her time. Why is this even news?

Ya know there’s a middle ground right? You don’t have to whole heartedly believe her and at the same time not assume he’s not at fault? Most likely they are both partly to blame, and neither is that great of a person. He was probably a douche nozzle who’s always been given thing and she’s some booze bitch cleat chaser. I’ll refrain judgement of both

When did I paint him as a saint? I just said he was obviously tired of her shite and then threw some plausible scenarios out counter to her narrative.

She probably wouldn't leave him alone. Called incessantly, showed up while he was on the road, got mad if he didn't respond, etc.

Y’all are acting like they were a college hookup. She was his wife. You shouldn’t “ghost” your wife unless she has done some truly bad shite to you.

Sounds like he found out she was banging someone else and just didn't have the balls to confront her.
