Darker complexion women represent the vast majority of Indian women. I’ve been to densely and sparsely populated areas on north, central and south India. I didn’t recall seeing hardly any lighter complexion women outside of large advertisement billboards and posters.
Watch most of what’s put out of Bollywood. Same trend. It’s not just limited to this pageant.

That's because skin color in India, SE Asia and many other places is a proxy for class.
Many developing countries equate dark skin with agricultural work and being poor. Light skin means you aren't in the sun and likely have a good office job.
These places sell skin whitening creams and cosmetics like they're Michael Jackson.

Indian women are hot. I dated one in college. They naturally fill out their sweaters nicely.
If you spend too much time with them you’ll have to scrub the curry smell off your Johnson.
