Haven’t been to a game yet and wondering where is the best place to buy tickets? Should I shoot for the best view or the best place to catch a foul ball/homerun for my son?

On the street outside the gate behind home plate is a tent where they resell discounted season tickets directly from the season ticket holders. You can look at the seat map and pick up your seats and it all managed by the Astros box office. It is 100% legit and a great resource for buying tickets

Buy the cheapest seat you can ($10) then sit wherever you want. Thank me later.

There are tons of empty seats down the baselines in the lower section. Take your pick on a weeknight. On weekends, hang out at the St. Arnold’s bar for a couple innings then work your way into the Crawford boxes. Worst case move on to the Budweiser bar then after the 5th inning sit where you want.

Just have your hands full and act like you belong.

Unless you have kids or a date/wife, just get the cheapest tickets and walk around. Hang out at the bars, check out the talent. You'll spend a hondo on beers, but you'll have a buzz.

For a guy who posts a lot about his income and net worth, you sure are a cheap, trashy fricker with all your schemes to avoid paying for stuff

Section 132, row 7, seat 12 is statistically the best foul ball seat.

I used to go to 40ish games per season. I’m not paying premium price every time and I’ll be damned if I sit in the upper decks. There is an easy process so I thought I’d share.

Torchy's Deck. It's a great park. However I usually sit 1-3 row next to 3rd base. Alex Bregman appreciates the LSU support

They should have just named the place in Atlanta ‘generic budget park’.

Hey Doc! Saw him a couple of Summers ago when they were at Toronto. I was pretty close behind the dugout wearing P&G and he pointed at me and threw me a warm up baseball.

Aside, there’s no A/C at Toronto’s ballpark and their “hot” weather solution of merely opening the roof doesn’t help when it’s over 80F. Choose your weather well there.

I've done this, but also seen folks moved who "came down from the cheap seats" so definitely act like you are supposed to be there.
