Looks like a variation of a trans flag with a butthole on it

Totally jumping to conclusions here but…
Was celebrating the hard work of pioneering homesteaders racist?

Busy flags are an eyesore.
A hood flag should be simple and easily identifiable. And not clash.
ETA: a GOOD flag
And for God's sake don't put the name of your state on the flag. It’s redundant.

Meh. Better than the old one, but it feels like a flag for a random pacific island country.

Very similar to the Somali flag, which is very fitting for Minnesota

Minneapolis is little somalia. Going to the "mall of America" feels like a trip to the middle east now.

Doesn’t look bad at face value but I’m sure my opinion will be ruined by the fact that they changed it because the old one was somehow offensive to trans quadraplegic Africans from cambodia

People should look up what the Somalia flag looks like. 1 color with a 5 point star. I’ll let you guess the color.
ETA: beat to it by several.

Minneapolis is little Somalia and St.Paul is Little Vietnam. Hmong people everywhere in St.Paul.
Like most major American cities, the suburbs are nice, clean, and more affluent. A few pockets of nice areas within Minne/St.Paul....like most other cities.
Woodbury, Eden Prairie, Edina, Minnetonka, Chanhassen, Eagan, Mendota Heights, Blaine, Forest Lake, etc. are all really nice areas.
I moved to Minnesota after college for first IT job and lived there for 4 years. Everywhere outside of the lib/ethnic areas in the city are great. My only complaint is the harsh winter.
Most people there probably didn't even know what the original flag looked like. A lot of people there are oblivious to that kind of shite.

Much improved. Flags with state seals are terrible.
